In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth. (Genesis 1:1)

God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27)

A certain ruler asked Jesus, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" ... Jesus answered ... You know the commandments: 'Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.'" (Luke 18:18-20)

To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honour and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. (Romans 2:7,8)

What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You made him ruler over the works of your hands. (Psalm 8:3-6)

There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one." (Romans 3:10-12)

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrong. (Habakkuk 1:13)

The wages of sin is death ... man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment. (Romans 6:23, Hebrews 9:27)

The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. (Acts 17:24,25)

All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away. (Isaiah 64:6)

God saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so his own arm worked salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him. (Isaiah 59:16)

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. (John 1:14)

For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. (Hebrews 4:15)

In Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form. (Colossians 2:9)

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us ... he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. (1 Isaiah 53:5, 2 Corinthians 5:21)

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:6-8)

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:16-17)

Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me ... I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 14,6, 10:10)

When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" Peter replied, "Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:37-38)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness ... If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (1 John 1:9, Romans 10:9)

Jesus said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. (Mark 16:15,16)
